Steps
- 1For Mung Pani, first soak the mung beans for 3 to 4 hours. Now put the mung beans in a pressure cooker with water as needed and close the cooker.
- 2Let it whistle 2 to 3 times, then cook on low heat for 10 minutes. Turn off the gas and let the pressure release naturally.
- 3Open the cooker and mix well. Let the dal cool down a little.
- 4Now put the dal and 2 cups of water in a blender and make a puree. Pour into a bowl and keep aside.
- 5For tempering, heat ghee in a tempering pan. Add cumin seeds and let them crackle. Now add the mung water, asafoetida, black pepper powder, and salt. Mix and let it boil for 2 to 3 minutes, then turn off the gas. Serve.
